WW - Rolex Day-Date, "President," ref 18238, circa 1996, 36mm x 44mm to lug tips, 20mm lug width, original 18K yellow gold screw back Oyster case, 18K gold President bracelet hidden deployment clasp with gold spring bars, original champagne dial has aged to an intense yellow with black Roman numeral hour markers and applied gold baton indices, two inset apertures for day at 12 and date at 3, double QS, 31J cal 3155, s#T274009, triple signed with signed clasp, bracelet ref 8385 with 55B stamped end links, inside back ref 18200. Head and bracelet combined length is just over 8 inches; bracelet with 7 links showing screw heads. Includes vintage inner and outer green Rolex box. Gross weight of assembled watch 91.2 dwt (141.8 g)
CONDITION:
Mvt: GRO, near mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, no oxide on rotor, no oxide elsewhere; near flawless dial; near mint hands; lightly polished original head shows very little wear, no dents or dings; bracelet shows very light wear, light stretch (see last photo of bracelet being held horizontally against a white background); original signed crown shows very little wear, good threads; excellent sapphire crystal; resealed for auction. Inner box shows hardly any wear, outer box shows very little wear with oil spot on side and like paint loss on corners.
